I’m Sofia, and yes—just like the city, I come from Sofia, Bulgaria!
I’m a freelance photographer with a deep passion for capturing the raw energy of live music and the authenticity of documentary photography. My journey into the creative world started in fashion—I hold a degree in Fashion, Textile & Costume Design from Hamburg, Germany, and a Master’s in Fashion Design from Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Madrid, Spain. Over the years, I’ve lived, worked, and created in the UK, Italy, Germany, and Spain, shaping my artistic perspective along the way.
Photography has always been part of my path—whether I was directing fashion shoots, styling campaigns, or working in a darkroom developing black-and-white film. I honed my skills in film and digital photography, eventually shifting my focus to concert photography, band photoshoots, and documentary-style storytelling. My experience also extends to creative direction, styling, and illustration, working with both agencies and individual clients.
Although I’m based in Sofia, Bulgaria, I’m always open to traveling for exciting photo projects—whether it’s a festival, a band tour, or a special shoot in a different city or country. If your project needs a passionate visual storyteller, I’d love to be part of it!
