Hello friend!
My name is Sofia and believe it or not, I do come from Sofia and yes, my name is written the same way as the city :)
I am a freelance photographer, who once upon a time used to be a fashion/costume designer. I have graduated in fashion, textile & costume design in Hamburg (Germany) and later obtained a Master degree in Fashion design from Istituto Europeo di Design-IED in Madrid (Spain). I have also worked/lived in the UK and Italy, and currently am residing in Bulgaria (and yes, in Sofia).
Photography was always part of my path, either preparing photoshoots for designer brands as creative director or stylist. During my studies I’ve taken various courses in photo lab processing, as well in black-white film photography and later amplified my knowledge in digital photography. My focus is mainly in concert and documentary photography.

I have also experience in creative direction, styling and illustration for both agencies and individual clients. Basically, a creative cocktail (shaken, not stirred) - just like my heritage.
